Basketball Recap: Liberal Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Liberal Bulldogs took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Appleton City Bulldogs. If Liberal was looking for revenge after losing 60-56 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Liberal and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for Appleton City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Liberal has already played their next matchup, a 48-45 defeat against Drexel on the 7th. As for Appleton City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-53 win against Archie on the 7th.
