Baseball Recap: Wellington Takes a Loss

Wellington lost against Keystone back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dukes lost 10-3 to the Wildcats.

Wellington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Kehl, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Wellington now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Keystone, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Wellington will host Elyria Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dukes are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Keystone, they will head out on the road to face off against Midview at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
