Park Place Christian Academy is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against East Rankin Academy on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Crusaders were beaten by the Patriots 42-14. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bogue Chitto). They were the clear victors by a 51-26 margin over Puckett on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bobcats considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Park Place Christian Academy better keep an eye on Jayden Poole. He was instrumental in Bogue Chitto's win, rushing for 179 yards and five scores on only eight carries, while also picking up 70 receiving yards and one touchdown. With that strong performance, Poole is now averaging an impressive 106 rushing yards per game. Maxim Yarborough was in the mix too, providing Bogue Chitto with one TD.

Bogue Chitto's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Park Place Christian Academy, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.
