Soccer Recap: Casady Drops Season-High Score on Chisholm

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Casady). They blew past the Chisholm Longhorns 11-1 on Wednesday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Casady's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while Chisholm are ranked 123rd).

Casady has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those seven matchups. As for Chisholm, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Casady will challenge rival Atoka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Casady's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Atoka have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Meanwhile, Chisholm is set to face off against their familiar foe Cordell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
