Baseball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the East Davidson Golden Eagles, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 18-2 loss back in March.

Lexington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lennox French, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for East Davidson, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Lexington nor East Davidson have any future games scheduled.
