Basketball Game Preview: Deer Park Stags vs. West Valley Eagles

The Deer Park Stags will face off against the West Valley Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Deer Park: they have been struggling with ten straight losses at home dating back to last season, while West Valley has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.

Last Friday, Deer Park came up short against Colville and fell 63-51.

Meanwhile, everything went West Valley's way against Rogers on Friday as West Valley made off with a 75-52 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 22 points or more this season.

West Valley has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Deer Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Deer Park was dealt a bruising 72-34 loss at the hands of West Valley in their previous matchup on January 3rd. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Deer Park was down 39-13.
