Baseball Recap: Sheldon Comes Up Short

Sheldon's last matchup with Pleasant Grove could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Huskies came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-4. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Sheldon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaren Azores, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Azores also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Sheldon's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Pleasant Grove, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

While Sheldon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
