Softball Recap: Paul VI's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

Paul VI had taken Cherokee down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 3-2. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Paul VI fell to 7-1-1. As for Cherokee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paul VI will head out to challenge Steinert at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cherokee, they will face off against Washington Township at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
