Basketball Recap: Union Hill Bulldogs vs. Saltillo Lions
Union Hill lost against Saltillo back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Union Hill Bulldogs took a 35-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saltillo Lions. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was EJ Mowery, who posted 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Mowery is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 16 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Barlow, who had eight points and six rebounds.
Union Hill now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Saltillo, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-10.
Union Hill will take on Avery at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Saltillo, they are taking a road trip to take on Avinger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
