Volleyball Recap: Bigfork Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Polson + How To Watch

Bigfork faced Polson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Vikings & Valkyries took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings & Valkyries in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 15-25, 25-19.

Raegan Waller paced Bigfork's offense, picking up 11 kills. Waller got some help from Taylor Howlett and her 23 assists. Finally, Somer Campos kept Bigfork's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Bigfork's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Polson, they pushed their record up to 10-5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
