Roanoke Rapids' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. As for Nash Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Roanoke Rapids beat Nash Central 2-0 in their previous matchup on April 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
