Baseball Recap: Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Comes Up Short

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Roncalli on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-6 to the Royals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Braves just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Nick Sobek was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Anthony Suscha also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Roncalli, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

While Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
