Volleyball Recap: Lompoc Comes Up Short

Lompoc managed to slip by Pioneer Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Braves lost 3-0 to the Panthers on Thursday. Braves fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Panthers since Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Lompoc and nudges their season record down to 8-15. As for Pioneer Valley, their win ended an 11-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-18.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lompoc will square off against rival Righetti at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pioneer Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Santa Maria at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
