Basketball Recap: West Davidson Starts Season with Win Against North Stokes

West Davidson had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down the North Stokes Vikings 71-52.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. West Davidson will head out to square off against East Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dragons will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Stokes, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against East Surry at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
