After flying high against Crestwood last Friday, Trinity Collegiate came back down to earth. The Trinity Collegiate Titans took a 69-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Andrew Jackson Volunteers. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Andrew Jackson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ni?Yonna Asbelle, who went 12 for 20 on her way to 26 points in addition to eight boards and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamia Watkins, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards.

Trinity Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Andrew Jackson, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Trinity Collegiate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-51 victory against Northridge on the 21st. As for Andrew Jackson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-45 win against Heathwood Hall Episcopal on the 21st.
