Baseball Recap: Shades Valley Comes Up Short

Shades Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Pell City Panthers, falling 17-4. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 19-3 loss on Wednesday.

Devin Scott was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Shades Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Pell City, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Shades Valley has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Pleasant Grove on the 21st. As for Pell City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-4 loss against Leeds on the 20th.
