The Northfield Norsemen will square off against the Oak Hill Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Thursday, Northfield was able to grind out a solid win over Lewis Cass, taking the game 3-1.
Northfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-15, 25-23, 25-10.

Brinlei Swihart and Bella Myers were among the main playmakers for Northfield as the former had 41 assists and 17 digs and the latter had 18 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Myers has posted since back in August.
They weren't the only good servers: Northfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lewis Cass only served five.
Meanwhile, Oak Hill waltzed into their match on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Giants.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Oak Hill was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13, 25-14.
Northfield's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Oak Hill, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's contest: Northfield has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Oak Hill struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
