Softball Recap: Wausaukee Takes a Loss

Wausaukee made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Coleman, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rangers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday.

Wausaukee saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skyler Betts, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base. Ainsley Russ also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Wausaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Coleman, their record now sits at 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wausaukee will face off against Pembine/Goodman at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coleman, they will square off against Hancock at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
