Basketball Recap: Ridgevue Comes Up Short

Ridgevue fought the good fight in their overtime game against Boise on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Boise Brave by a score of 56-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warhawks have suffered since December 5, 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Ridgevue lost, don't look at Tucker Tiddens. Despite the final result, he posted 22 points. Tiddens is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Javonte Boles was another key player, putting up 14 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Ridgevue and nudges their season record down to 9-6. As for Boise, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Ridgevue will face off against Rocky Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boise, they will challenge Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
