Soccer Game Preview: South Bend Adams vs. Concord

The South Bend Adams Eagles will square off against the Concord Minutemen at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

South Bend Adams is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Mishawaka Marian get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Even though South Bend Adams got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Sebastian Parisi was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

South Bend Adams' one-goal win came courtesy of Asim Elhag, who's now up to 20 this season.

Meanwhile, Concord faced Penn in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Minutemen who were credited with the victory. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Penn: they've now won five in a row.

Concord's victory bumped their record up to 14-3-1. As for South Bend Adams, their win bumped their record up to 14-2-2.
