Recap: Unity Christian Lions vs. Pepperell Dragons
Make it eight blowout wins for the Unity Christian Lions this season. They blew past Pepperell 51-31. The win was nothing new for Unity Christian as they're now sitting on four straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Unity Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Grace Wells, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Wells is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily King, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Unity Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Pepperell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
Unity Christian will look to defend their home court on Monday against Model at 7:00 p.m. Model is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road. As for Pepperell, they will square off against Chattooga at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
