Basketball Recap: Alleghany Comes Up Short on the Road Against East Surry + How To Watch

Alleghany kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt an 81-11 loss at the hands of the East Surry Cardinals. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2017.

Destiny Revis was Alleghany's leading scorer, having posted four points. Brooke Sheets held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

The win got East Surry back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Alleghany will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on North Surry at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Surry, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-30 victory against Ledford on the 20th.
