Highland had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They took down the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets 44-27. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 227th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Randolph-Macon Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bijou Kebbay, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds, and Kay Perry, who posted ten points and five boards. That was a full 37% of Randolph-Macon Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.
