After a string of three wins, Calvary Day's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They were outmatched by the Grayson Rams and fell 64-35. The match marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Loss or not, Calvary Day got some senior leadership from Bre Jones and Destini Gooddine. Jones posted 11 points and seven boards, while Gooddine had nine points and seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, Calvary Day smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Calvary Day's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Grayson, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Calvary Day will be playing in front of their home fans against Islands at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grayson, they will head out on the road to challenge Archer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
