The Glenwood Gators lost against the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Glenwood took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lee-Scott Academy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Glenwood in their matchups with Lee-Scott Academy: they've now lost three in a row.

Leading Lee-Scott Academy to victory were Chapman Harris and Ben Aldridge. Harris scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two blocks, while Aldridge almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harris has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Parker Wright, who scored six points along with three blocks and two steals.

Glenwood's loss dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Lee-Scott Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 24-5.

Glenwood is on the road again on Thursday and plays Bessemer Academy at 5:45 p.m. on February 8th. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Monroe Academy at 5:00 p.m. Lee-Scott Academy is facing Monroe Academy at the right time seeing as Monroe Academy is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
