Richmond Heights had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They secured a 32-27 W over the Chagrin Falls Tigers. The 32-point effort marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Despite the loss, Chagrin Falls saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Avery Russell posted ten points.

Richmond Heights pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Chagrin Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.

Richmond Heights is taking a road trip to challenge Garfield Community Learning Center at 6:45 p.m. on February 13th. Chagrin Falls has already played their next match, a 63-10 victory against Orange on the 6th.
