Kamiak took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Arlington, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Eagles 3-2.

Cole Armstrong-Hoss looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Kamiak's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Colby Koga, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Kamiak's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Arlington, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coming up, Kamiak is taking a road trip to face off against Kentridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Arlington will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' contest: after the Knights face off against the Chargers, they'll take on Arlington again at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
