Baseball Recap: Tekamah-Herman Comes Up Short

Tekamah-Herman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 8-0 to the Fort Calhoun Pioneers. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 16-2 to the Pioneers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tekamah-Herman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Waltke, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double was Waltke's first of the season.

Tekamah-Herman's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fort Calhoun, their record is now 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tekamah-Herman will take on rival Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fort Calhoun is set to face off against their familiar foe Arlington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
