Basketball Game Preview: T.W. Andrews Red Raiders vs. North Forsyth Vikings

T.W. Andrews is a perfect 8-0 against North Forsyth since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The T.W. Andrews Red Raiders will host the North Forsyth Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as T.W. Andrews comes in on eight and North Forsyth on five.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for T.W. Andrews against McMichael as the team secured a 73-11 victory. The Red Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matches by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Sanai' Johnson, who posted 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Janiya Milligan was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North Forsyth beat West Stokes 35-31 on Tuesday.

North Forsyth's win came from a few key players T.W. Andrews will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ariel Odugba, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. What's more, she also posted a 63% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jylyia Mizell, who scored six points along with five boards and five steals.

North Forsyth pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for T.W. Andrews, their victory bumped their record up to 21-1.

Everything came up roses for T.W. Andrews against North Forsyth in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 55-15 win. Will T.W. Andrews repeat their success, or does North Forsyth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
