Stevens came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Spearfish Spartans with a sharp 5-2 win. Considering Stevens have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Stevens' victory bumped their record up to 12-1-1. As for Spearfish, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11-1 record this season.
