Volleyball Recap: Buchtel Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Buchtel had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Lake Center Christian Tiger, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-6, 25-8.

Lake Center Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Summer Brown out in front who had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave Brown a new career-high.

Lake Center Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Buchtel and Lake Center Christian will both be playing North the next time they take the court. The Tiger will host the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Griffins will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
