Bishop Kearney put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 71-55 victory over the Vertus Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Kings also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Bishop Kearney's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaiden Pascoe, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Pascoe is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Owen Gorham, who posted 12 points along with six assists and four steals.

Bishop Kearney smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Bishop Kearney's record now sits at 3-0. As for Vertus, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Kearney will welcome Edison Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vertus, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Brighton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
