Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in October of 2019.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-13.

Rita Taylor was nothing short of spectacular for Greater Atlanta Christian: she had 23 assists and seven aces. That's the most assists Taylor has posted over her last eight matchups.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-10.

Coincidentally, Mountain View and Greater Atlanta Christian will both be playing Grayson the next time they take the court. The Spartans will host the Rams at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
