Football Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss

Manchester lost against Bluffton back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Squires were beaten by the Tigers 45-6. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, the Squires couldn't push the score so high this time.

Dallas Martin threw for 84 yards and one TD. Cody Carroll was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and one score.

Axton Beste was a one-man wrecking crew For Bluffton. as he rushed for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 88 yards and three TDs. Aaron Streveler was in the mix as well, providing the Tigers with two scores.

Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bluffton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manchester will challenge Wabash at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bluffton, they will take on South Adams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
