Recap: Keswick Christian Crusaders vs. East Lake Eagles
The Keswick Christian Crusaders came tearing into Saturday's matchup with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on East Lake with a sharp 54-30 victory. Keswick Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 24 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Ava Graham, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Keswick Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robyn Cantwell, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Keswick Christian pushed their record up to 16-2 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.83 points. As for East Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keswick Christian will face off against Booker at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Booker has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for East Lake, they will head out on the road to challenge St. Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
