Soccer Game Preview: Annandale vs. Falls Church

Annandale has won six straight games at home, while Falls Church has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Atoms will host the Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. Annandale's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Annandale is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They had just enough and edged out Mount Vernon 6-5 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Annandale considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Falls Church's game on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on Edison with a sharp 4-1 win. Falls Church haven't had any issues with Edison recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Annandale is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those six contests. As for Falls Church, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.
