Softball Recap: Clovis Comes Up Short

Clovis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls, falling 15-0. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Clovis' loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Carlsbad, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cavemen/Cavegirls beat Clovis by a score of 15-0 later that day.
