Football Recap: Lyndhurst Golden Bears vs. Becton Wildcats
After flying high against Palisades Park/Leonia last Friday, Lyndhurst came back down to earth. The Golden Bears and the Becton Wildcats were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Golden Bears suffered a 14-13 loss. The matchup marked the Golden Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Despite the defeat, Lyndhurst saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Avery Cano rushed for 109 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 55 yards and one TD.
