St. Peter won the last time they faced Mt. St. Michael Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Mountaineers by a score of 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Mt. St. Michael Academy's batters probably weren't too happy with Justin Levine, who pitched a no hitter and racked up six Ks (he gave up a single walk). Levine has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Anthony Macaluso was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Guzman, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.

St. Peter's record now sits at 10-4. As for Mt. St. Michael Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Peter's will host Xavier at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. St. Michael Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Salesianum at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sallies' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Mountaineers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
