Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Lowell

Lowell entered their tilt with Sparta on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 10-5. With that win, the Red Arrows brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Lowell got a massive performance out of Logan Dawson, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The Red Arrows are undefeated when Dawson posts two or more stolen bases, but 10-11 otherwise. Ethan Dennings was another key player, going 4-for-5 with four RBI.

Lowell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .367 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Sparta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.

Lowell will square off against Sterling Heights Stevenson at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sparta, they will challenge Tri County Area at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
