Glenbrook South is 9-1 against New Trier since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Titans will take on the Trevians at 4:45 p.m. Glenbrook South's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three contests, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Glenbrook South was handed a 12-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Glenbrook North a 1-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won seven in a row.

The result came thanks to Addy Hurley's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Glenbrook South saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Buckingham, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, New Trier entered their tilt with Highland Park on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Giants. That's two games straight that the Trevians have won by just one run.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-13. As for New Trier, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Glenbrook South took their victory against New Trier when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-1 score. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trevians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
