Basketball Game Preview: Naperville Central Redhawks vs. Plainfield North Tigers

The Naperville Central Redhawks will head out to face off against the Plainfield North Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Naperville Central is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Naperville Central came up short against Geneva and fell 56-48. While losing is never fun, the Redhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while the Vikings are ranked 60th).

Meanwhile, Plainfield North entered their game against Romeoville on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Plainfield North was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to Romeoville. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Naperville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Plainfield North, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-9.
