Basketball Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Camas County's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Camas County unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak dating back to last season on Thursday. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hansen Huskies. The Mushers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Cadden Hathaway and Clancy Rablin certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Hathaway almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards, while Rablin dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Camas County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hansen, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Camas County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-39 win against Castleford on the 10th. As for Hansen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 81-29 defeat against Dietrich on the 10th.
