Isle of Wight Academy has gone a perfect 3-0 against Norfolk Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Chargers will host the Ambassadors at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Isle of Wight Academy fell victim to Broadwater Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Vikings. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Norfolk Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 10-6 to Norfolk Academy.

Cambell White and Amber Tejada did some serious damage despite the final result: White got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while Tejada got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Isle of Wight Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Norfolk Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Isle of Wight Academy took their win against Norfolk Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 16-1 score. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Ambassadors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
