Basketball Recap: East Harlem Takes a Loss

East Harlem lost against Douglass Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. East Harlem fell 49-42 to the Douglass Academy Lions. The contest marked East Harlem's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

East Harlem's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Douglass Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Harlem will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Environmental at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Douglass Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Cristo Rey at 10:10 a.m. on Saturday.
