Baseball Game Preview: Canyon View Falcons vs. Ogden Tigers

For the second straight game, Canyon View will face off against Ogden. The Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Canyon View is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Ogden 19-9. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Brady Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Anderson was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Trenton Ludlow was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Price Atwood was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Canyon View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ogden only posted a batting average of .320.

Ogden is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21. As for Canyon View, their record now sits at 21-5.
