Snow Canyon had won 22 straight games and Olivia Hamlin did her part to make it 23 on Thursday. The Snow Canyon Warriors took their game with ease, bagging a 74-35 victory over the Hurricane Tigers thanks in part to Hamlin, who went 11 of 19 en route to 24 points and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last 49 games she's played dating back to last season.

Another player making a difference was Alyssa Staheli, who posted three points. What's more, she also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024.

Hurricane's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elle Jenson, who scored seven points. Jenson continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Austin Terry was another key player, putting up four points.

Snow Canyon's win was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-0. As for Hurricane, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-18.

Snow Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hurricane, they will head out on the road to challenge Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Hurricane surely won't give up without a fight.
