Football Recap: Kaden Ramer and Andrew Robinson Secure Win for River Oaks + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and River Oaks had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 40-34 win over the Sylva Bay Academy Saints on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-28 back in September.

A big part of River Oaks' victory came down to the chemistry between Andrew Robinson and his top target Kaden Ramer. Robinson threw for 145 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes while Ramer gained 149 total yards. Byron Price helped Robinson out on the ground, rushing for 64 yards and one TD on only six carries.

Despite the loss, Sylva Bay Academy still got an impressive performance from Micah Odom, who rushed for 188 yards and four scores, and also threw for 44 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Odom is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

River Oaks' win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Sylva Bay Academy, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, River Oaks will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Newton County Academy at 7:00 p.m. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Generals have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games. Sylva Bay Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
