Basketball Recap: Ocala Christian's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Ocala Christian won the last time they faced Riverside Christian, and Rodney Paz did his part to make sure it happened again. The Ocala Christian Crusaders blew past the Riverside Christian Wranglers 71-41 on Thursday thanks in part to Paz, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Carrillo, who posted seven points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Ocala Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-4. As for Riverside Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Ocala Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-56 victory against First Assembly Christian Academy on the 16th. As for Riverside Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-19 defeat against Beaches Chapel on the 13th.
