Football Game Preview: Kimball Jaguars vs. Central Catholic Raiders

The Kimball Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Central Catholic Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Central Catholic will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Kimball extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Jaguars blew past Millennium, posting a 70-7 win. The game marked the Jaguars' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Emma Coronado was her usual excellent self, throwing for 367 yards and seven TDs while completing 76.2% of her passes. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 300.9 passing yards per game. Anaiya Garcia did her part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 83 receiving yards.

Kimball didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off seven passes before the game was over. Garcia led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by herself. Mariah Torres got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Central Catholic never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat River Islands 31-0. 31 seems to be a good number for the Raiders as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Kimball's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Central Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
